   4 This package contains support for using UTF-8 as input encoding in
   5 LaTeX documents.

   9 The simplest use of this package is to add
  10         \usepackage{ucs}
  11         \usepackage[utf8x]{inputenc}
  12 to your header. You may even omit the first line in many cases. Often
  13 however you need to load additional packages etc., see
  14 languages.ps.gz for language-specific examples.

  16 The tables with LaTeX macros for the glyphs does not contain many
  17 entries yet. If your particular script is not supported, and you add
  18 the macros to the config files (see INSTALL and perldoc
  19 makeunidef.pl), please mail me those config files, and together with
  20 informations, if special packages or LaTeX versions are needed for
  21 these macros. Please do only supply macros, which generate aesthetic
  22 glyphs, no hacks. See also
